Week 16 Recap

Congrats this week go to Sill for his first victory in this, his inaugural season. Second place goes to Rick and Terminator gets 3rd place even though he didn't even get his picks in on time. This is the second or third time a participant has gotten money this year with random picks. I might need to start employing this strategy myself.

Heading into the final week, Big Papa Marc maintains a healthy 14 pt. lead over Rally Matt. In 3rd place, 17 pts. back, is Dave who is still holding out hope for the elusive double dip. In 4th place, 19 pts back, is Tim with our defending champion Ellie in 5th place after jumping 3 spots last week. Year-end awards will be given to 1st through 4th places so there will need to be a lot of strategy this final week. A lot of questions remain which will be resolved soon. Will people in the top 5 go for the win, or will they pick conservatively to just try to finish in the money? How will Big Papa handle the pressure of being in the driver's seat for the title, which would be his first in his 15+ years in the SWS? Can the cagey veterans Tim and Ellie pull off some late season magic like they have in the past? If Dave wins the title for the double dip, would he tell his wife? If he pulls off this feat, would it go down as the greatest single SWS season? If Ellie somehow pulls off the win from 5th place, would she replace Jack as the preeminent SWS champion? Even if she doesn't and secures a top 3 finish, would that be enough? If Tim pulls off the win, what will his status be in SWS history? If Tim wins, will Brian ask for a little "taste" of Tim's winnings? At one point does one person just ask one too many questions in trying to build suspense???????
